Beauty From Ashes Trinity Series Stone

And that’s what salvation and sanctification (restoration back to His image) are all about.  God delights in taking the broken, miserable, and hopeless soul who submits to Jesus as Lord, and transforming the ugly into an expression of beauty—of Christ Himself (2 Corinthians 3:18).  Solomon wrote of this using an analogy of mankind as the ashes of sin’s destruction, and Jesus, as the Rose of Sharon (Song of Solomon 2:1).  God brings forth beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).  This design represents a rose, the Rose of Sharon.  However, the stone is Mount St. Helen’s ash, reheated into either a red, green, or blue glass—literal beauty from ashes.
