Jacob’s Well
The Trinity Series
God led Jacob through the wilderness in a dry and barren land (near Sychar; in Samaria). Water was scarce, a precious commodity, but God always provides. Jacob dug a well and water burst forth—a landmark that quenched the thirsts of generations for centuries to come (Genesis 33:20; John 4:5).
Almost 2000 years later, Jesus rested at Jacob’s well. A rejected and broken woman came to fetch water in the midday heat. Jesus spoke—her battered heart burned. He provided hope and “living water” to a dry and barren soul (John 4:7-28), and she found her Lord. Peer into the mysterious well of God’s love and let His “living water” give life and restore your hope. This octagonal stone is designed to represent a well of great depth.
